A young peoples revival opened at the city auditorium last night directed by Monk Parker a Bob Jones college Florida graduate. The revival continues through Friday night with services for young people at 7 and regular services at 730. The Unchangeable Christ was the opening sermon and officials expect larger attendance tonight.
ATLANTA November 28 AP reports the Southern Conference standings show Three Elevens not defeated in loop play with updated records and positions among teams in the conference.
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs clinched the 1932 Southwest Conference football title with an 8 to 0 victory over Southern Methodist University. They completed an undefeated and untied conference run, the first since 1926 to do so, as Rice Institute took third with a 12 to 0 win over Baylor and Texas A and M, UT finished second with five wins and one loss.
Denver reports the Rocky Mountain Conference football season ends with Utah as champion for the fifth straight year. Utah’s lone loss since 1927 came from Colorado Aggies 12 to 0. Denver beats Colorado 6 to 0 to claim Colorado title. Colorado College takes fourth by defeating Colorado Mines 20 to 7. Colorado Aggies top Wyoming 23 to 0, boosting their percentage above .500.
