The USO Center on S Foster Street hosted a Thanksgiving dance and turkey supper attended by soldiers and local young women. Decorations used autumn foliage and pumpkins. Napier Field Orchestra provided music. two turkey suppers were served during intermission. principal organizers and chaperones coordinated the event with hospitality noted by attendees.
