Wounded farmer able to go to his home

W. H. Cain, a farmer near Liocom, reported shot twice by his landlord C. C. Culverhouse during a crop division dispute. Cain left the hospital yesterday to return home. Culverhouse was arrested by Geneva county authorities on a charge of assault with intent to murder. Cain was shot in the abdomen and the right arm.

Mary Ann Hicks former pioneer resident of Dothan dies

Mrs. Mary Ann Hartzog Hicks, 83, longtime Dothan area resident and aunt of Mrs. D. G. Seaborn, died in Chataboochee Florida from age infirmities. Two Alabama Bank Robbers Sought Today

Possemen and officers closed in on two bank robbers near Garden City Alabama after shots were fired as they fled into fields along the Mulberry river two miles from town. Police recovered $65 in pennies from an abandoned car and blood on a hat and upholstery suggested a wound to one robber.
