Atom's Ohio boom town rises around Miamisburg plant

Miamisburg Ohio rockets from a quiet town to a boom town as a 5 million dollar atomic energy research plant and a 15 million dollar power plant rise outside the city. The Atomic Energy Commission funds the project with a Monsanto contract geared to peacetime uses while 2,500 workers arrive for construction. Regular trailer city housing is created and a 20,000 dollar school expansion funds temporary additions to the grade school as the population swells, with at least 575 workers needed to run the plants once completed.
