Rope Found in Price Case May Be Evidence

A 30 foot rope recovered from Hurricane Creek near Hartford is to be offered as evidence in the murder case of Mrs. Ethel Price. Investigators say the rope, possibly used to bind or weight the body, was found with an iron bar linked to the crime. Wallace Bowen implicated Price in the slaying, but Circuit Solicitor Muling says Bowen mentioned no rope in the confession. Deputies retrieved the rope from the creek with others present and the rope has been turned over to Sheriff J A Driver for safekeeping.
