Washington AP reports radio and television will boost education by bringing great events to classrooms and homes. Educators say TV acts as electronic blackboard, enabling distant surgical views and presidential addresses, while home study and adult education programs expand access. FCC rules relaxed for school FM stations may allow many schools to own transmitters, with facility costs as low as 2500 dollars for equipment and studio.

More Danes Leaving Native Country
Danes increasingly seek emigration to the Americas with America the favored destination. In 1947 nine hundred Danes left, mostly for the United States, with others going to British dominions. In the current year about 1,000 Danes have emigrated, 650 to the United States, 200 to Canada, 54 to Australia, 26 to New Zealand, and the rest elsewhere.
