Seven Crash Victims Remain In Hospital
Seven people injured in a Tuesday afternoon collision near Midland City remain hospitalized. Two are in serious condition. two described as resting comfortably. Mr and Mrs Homer Louie Jenna and their five year old daughter Mary Jane were not deemed seriously hurt but remain under observation and treatment. Two of three Negro victims also stayed in hospital. one was discharged after first aid. Len ton failed to report for induction under new Selective Service rules effective November 1, with delinquent registrants reclassified and ordered up for induction.

The Dothan Rotary Club announced formation of a new scout troop with Lawrence Oakley as Troop Committee chair. George Forehand named scoutmaster, Jack Gregory and Tom Murry as assistant scoutmasters. A meeting will choose 12 to 15 boys for the charter group, with committee members Albert Logue Rev G Ralph Madson Julian Smith Coke Jones Robert Ramsey and Oakley. The charter will be assigned a number after officials receive it. This brings ten new scout units organized in Dothan since the year began.
