Sixth District Women's Clubs Workin The Wiregrass Area
Approximately two hundred women attended the Sixth District Federation meeting at Opp on November 9. District director Mrs. E. O. Goswold presided. State President Mrs. W. E. Deer spoke, with afternoon talks on library service and bookmobiles. Peru student Santoalla described impressions at Alabama College and displayed articles. Delegates from Enterprise and other towns elected officers and endorsed candidates for state leadership. The Ozark Study Club presented a playset on parliamentary usage. Lunch was served at Memorial Methodist Church, with Alabama Federation headbooks distributed to club leaders.
