Presbyterian Auxiliary Week of Prayer for Home Missions

The Presbyterian Women's Auxiliary will observe a week of prayer study and self denial for home missions starting Monday at Mrs John Crawford's home. Studies in The Red Man's Tears will be led by several members. Services are set for Wednesday at 7 30 p.m. and Thursday at 3 30 p.m. at Mrs R M Grubb's home. Members are urged to attend and bring self denial offerings. Also reports of Le Gal Douzainne club include Armistice program and talks on World War I events. Rev M Medema will address Sunday Christian Endeavors at First Christian Church at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Husband Stops Heiress' Decree

The day Mrs. Margaret Liggett Willits, Chicago socialite and heiress, awaited a divorce decree, was announced that her husband John McGregor Willits would not agree to the divorce and the couple cannot settle. The marriage began in 1926 and produced two children. Foster Street Church presents a Sunday evening program at 7. Details include choir performances, hymns, and offerings.
