An unidentified man driving a stolen car without lights collided with Howard Patterson’s automobile at Main and Lena Streets last night. He leaped from the vehicle, which was reported owned by E. M. Hightower, and fled. Patterson’s car sustained heavy damage but no injuries occurred. Plane Far Off Flight Course Falls Five Die
A plane lost on a flight from Chicago to Atlanta crashed into woods near Kempville Tennessee killing five aboard. Identified victims include Mr and Mrs Joseph F Hitt of Chicago and Fort Lauderdale along with their young daughter and two other children. The craft had circled over the town before the crash. Hitt was a wood working engineer with a Chicago firm and developing a Florida farm near Pompano.
