General Tasker Howard Bliss former wartime chief of staff dies at Walter Reed Hospital shortly after his 77th birthday. He served in four campaigns and on the supreme war council and American peace commission. Survived by widow Eleanor, son Colonel Edward Bliss, and daughter Mrs Adolph Knopf. Burial in Arlington on Wednesday with honorary pallbearers including General Pershing and Admiral Benson.
