MONTGOMERY May 30 AP An early session for disposing of items of importance drew more than 900 postal workers to the Alabama Federation of Postal Employees annual assembly. Mrs Postal workers last night held their banquet at the Masonic temple with Dr M B Kirkpatrick as toastmaster. Leo George president of the national association spoke on individual problems. United States Senator J Thomas Heflin and Gov Bib Graves were listed but could not attend. Delegates attended as post offices closed for Memorial Day.
