Graduation Night Dawns As Dog Receives Diploma
In Waynesburg, at Wall grammar school, Spot-onfum nearly blind and loyal to a fault walked on stage during graduation. Principal H E Remaley awarded a diploma and a 10 year perfect attendance certificate to the dog after his master Robert Stanko, 114, watched proudly. Jimmy, injured by a gunfire incident, was reported fair at a local hospital.

Mrs. Fannie D Brown aged sixty five died at her Hartford route two home after long illness. Funeral services were held at Shilo Church with Rev Gunter Ozark Rev A D Zbinden and Rev John Jeffers officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Holman Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are husband J Brown two sons Leslie and Gordon both of Hartford a sister Mrs J F Lowell Abbeville a brother L L Griffin Headland and several grandchildren Active pallbearers were Fred Griffin Henry Wright Chester Wright Bryan Wright J D Griffin Lucius Griffin.
