Funeral services for Mrs Mac lay Frances Hardy age eighty five were held at Rehobeth Church near Dothan. She was a longtime resident and member of the Rehobeth Church. Surviving are two daughters Lois Knowles and Florence Sunckland, four sons W L Hardy Arthur Hardy Reginald Hardy, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Jim Strickland Cherizy Battles Grady Martin Marvin Cobb Hosea McNeal Hoy Tidwell. Ward Wilson Funeral Home had charge.
Funeral services for Charlie V. Powell seventy four who died at a son W. L. Powell Graceville route two will be held tomorrow at 11 a m at Selma Church with Rev. Joe White officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Johnson Walkerson in charge. Surviving are two sons W. L. Powell and C. H. Powell of Panama City two sisters Mrs W J Kirkland Dothan and Birs Lizzie Newton Dothan and nine active pallbearers Archie Clark Henry Clark Charlie Clark Ben Martin F F Barnes W B Skinner honorary: Dr Ben Chalker Jessie Forrester Dr D G Andress Ben May John Adkins N T Hutto D P Youngblood C L Collins and Travia Mixon Jr.
