Hollywood Colonel Becomes Real General On Set
A long story from Hollywood recounts Colonel Norman Slade a 55 year old ex Army officer who acted as technical advisor on a film. He once refused to embrace tanks preferring cavalry and later ended up posing as a general in a wardrobe mix up. Slade died last year but his three star greeting of patrons became a famous on set sight.
