Mrs J L Strickland of Newton Route One dies at home after long Hartford to Newton route life. Widow of J L Strickland she leaves four children and many grandchildren. Funeral services to be held at Hartford with burial in the local cemetery. Surviving children include Mrs Okerth Owens and four sons, with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
