Johnny Mack Brown To Visit Old Home Town Saturday
Dothan’s Johnny Mack Brown, Hollywood star from the local boy to big screen fame, will arrive Saturday morning for a personal Martin Theatre appearance with his troupe. The program features Carl Zeller and his three drifters, Trime McCormick the rope artist, and Roy Rogers in the film Utah. Brown, a former Dothan High football star who earned All American honors in 1926, will visit old friends and continue his rise from local hero to screen idol.
