An Education In Laughter From M I Newton Stories
A 73 year old Dothan resident recalls M I Newton’s yarns from the 1870s and his lively life. He describes preachers, wagons journeys from North Carolina, fishing tales, a chair halting a pursuit, and the family’s 540 acre farm near Taylor. His daughters teach locally, and Newton remains linked to his roots.
