Two Model T Ford owners collided near Burtleshaw and College streets about 8 last night. Each fender was damaged but both drivers were unhurt. They exchanged blunt replies and drove off after joking exchanges.

Sunday School Campaign Work Progress Report

The Tuesday conference opened with a devotional led by Rev. Cox and Miss Jean Williams read two passages. More than 500 attend Baptist church classes in the Enlargement Campaign Monday night and 700 are expected Wednesday night. Mt. Pleasant church had the most officers and teachers. Mrs. J. Henry Bush directs there and reported a strong start. J. L. Corzine urged bringing all church officers and teachers to Friday’s conference where John Maguire will deliver a special message. Davis C. Cooper praised the high cooperation and noted the rising attendance across departments.

Mother of Mrs Renfroe Dies in Louisville

Mrs Rachel Trisler Guan mother of Mrs W J Renfroe of this city died this morning at the home of her daughter Mrs G W White in Louisville Ky She was at her daughter’s bedside as she passed and had been in Louisville since Mrs Gunn fell seriously ill a few days earlier Burial details were not learned.

No Trace of Car Stolen Saturday

No trace has yet been found of the Ford touring belonging to C. Hr. Jackson, stolen Saturday night from in front of the Milt Teli rt Tent Theater at Crawford and St. Andes streets. An unidentified thief had removed the license tag from the car days earlier, forcing a replacement.

Mrs Mary Ready Dies at 79 in Ro welack Home

Mrs Mary Ready aged 79 died at her home on Lafayette Street last night. She is survived by four children and many grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Ararat Chapel near Webb with Rev Wallace officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
