Alabama Seeks Larger Share Of Postwar Road Funds

The plan changes the highway fund formula, shifting weight to population area and road mileage, and would require matching funds from states. Alabama officials expect its share to be only slightly reduced and push for immediate passage to allow early state funding plans.
