A singing school at Bay Springs Church concluded Saturday evening after a two week run drawing a large Wiregrass crowd. Directors were Otho Farmer and Marvin Brac hain from Headland, with song leaders including Ben Reynolds Arthur Smith J B Faulk J B Baldwin Billy Baldwin and Miss Jame Brackin Miss Betty Williams and Gene Mims of Echo. Pianos were played by Ben Reynolds and Janice Brackin.
Mrs. J. B. Goodson hosted a Friday celebration for her daughter Miss Tiny Goodson's sixteenth birthday.
