Haste Overrules Good Judgment in Dress Buying
The article warns that purchases made in excitement for a special occasion often fail to become wardrobe favorites. It advises buying while calm, considering future needs, and avoiding impulsive splurges when funds are limited. A single good daytime dress can cover many daytime events if chosen wisely.
Makeup and stain tips for dress care
Before dressing hold cleansing tissue between lips to guard lipstick. Apply makeup after dressing for better results. When pressing wrinkles avoid direct heat on fabric to prevent setting stains.
Dress harmony with old wardrobe pieces
A dress that blends with existing coats shoes bags scarves and hats will be more successful than one that clings to old standbys. House centipedes, though disliked, are beneficial and should be spared as they prey on insect pests in the home.
