Rogers blank Whitlars 2 to 0 for pennant bid

Rogers pitcher Lee Rogers held the Montgomery Whitlars to four hits as Dothan won 2 to 0. Ike Lewis drove in a run in the fourth on Boozer's deep center hit, and Boozer later advanced on a fielder's choice before being put out at third. Attendance was light despite a children’s day promotion. Boll Weevils meet Montgomery again in the capital city.
