In Jellico Tennessee crews haul away the last demolished troop car of a military train wreck in a boulder strewn gorge. Six more bodies recovered raising the death toll to twenty five. Authorities expect more remains as effort continues to clear the track. The derailment left locomotive and four cars derailed with a fifth car hung on a slope on the gorge side.

Police Chief J X Caughan announced that riot guns and tear gas are now in officers hands for emergency responses. Des k sergeant Ed die Kelley noted four parachute flares and multiple tear gas bombs arrived Friday, with tear gas bombs capable of penetrating walls and reaching 365 yards.
