Two Men Charged With Interstate Auto Theft

Joe Bridges aged 19 from Webster Florida and J E Hickey aged 20 from Arkansas are held in Houston county jail facing U S grand jury action for violating the national motor vehicle theft act. Strike Hit South Jersey Clothing Firms Over Wages

About 5,590 workers in five South Jersey cities joined a nation wide clothing wage strike today. In Vineland approximately 2,000 walked out, with more than 800 in Hammonton and over 500 in Egg Harbor. No disorders reported. Postal Receipts Show 13 Percent Gain in June

The Post Office Department reported June postal receipts rose 13.05 percent from 1932, totaling 24,984,394 compared with 22,006,142 for the prior year. Akron Ohio led gains with 345,156 and 40.39 percent, while only Detroit and Dayton Ohio showed small declines.
