Mrs Bevis hosted a morning party honoring Miss Terry Hollis, a popular bride-elect, with spring flowers and narcissi centerpieces. Gift of crystal presented by Mrs Stanmire and her daughter from Richmond, Va. out-of-town guests included Ellen McKinney. Frasier Ellis Nurses Alumnae meet at 7:50 pm Thursday at Mrs Edward Green’s home.
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Powers of Ozark route three welcomed a son, William Levi Powers, born January 27 at Holman's Clinic in Ozark. Grandparents are Mrs. L. P. Powers and Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Owens of Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Neth announce a son, James Keward, born January 60 at a local hospital. Grandparents are Mrs. J. E. Farrell and Mrs. L. Pello of Newnan, Georgia.

A Headland Avenue Baptist Woman's Missionary Society session met at the church Monday with thirty seven members attending. Miss Berta Lou Worrall led the song service. Mrs J M Campbell presided and prayer was offered by Mrs David Carmichael. The meeting opened with meditation and prayer. Committee chairmen reported on past activities. Mrs Ennis Roebuck chaired the activity report. Members from other organizations joined the fellowship hour.
A Mothers' Club meeting at Mrs. Bruce Stinson's home featured speakers Mrs. Charles McLeod and Mrs. Harry Anderson focusing on sensible parenting and developing responsibility in children. The gathering, led by program reader Mrs. Harry Wistrand, planned February game party arrangements with a committee including Mrs. Max Hilson and Mrs. John P. Robinson.
Hartford churches invite participation in a World Day of Prayer service at the Methodist church on Friday evening with all-day prayer and meditation. The Presbyterian Women met for a study program and planned three days of special prayers. funds will aid world mission. Also reported: Mrs. Saunders hosted a bridge luncheon. prizes awarded to Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. Lanier. birthday party for Sonny Watson observed with games and treats.
