Rucker Soldiers Donate Blood at Frazier-Ellis Hospital
Camp Rucker volunteers from the 9th Infantry and attached units contributed eight pints of whole blood at Frazier-Ellis Hospital in Dothan. The drive, directed by Chaplain Sam M. Silver, drew regular donors including several who had given multiple times and one Russian-born volunteer. After donating, participants enjoyed a USO-supplied supper before returning to camp. The hospital program accepts donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with prior military approval required.
