Whistle habits praised by Dothan basketball officials
Endless complaints about whistle happy officials fade as Do than officials Carson and Gregory earn praise for letting plays develop. Their approach slows no action, preserves flow, and earns support from players and fans. Jim Radford of Wiregrass Basketball League also keeps whistles to a minimum, maintaining order with firm calls when needed. Around the circuits, modern scorer timers and solid court conditions bolster Dothan’s readiness for the district tournament. Approximately 100 fans attend two Tigers games against Opp, underscoring a weak local turnout despite strong play.
