The notice lists residents from Ashford Slocomb Cowarts and Kin g visiting Dothan on Tuesday and Monday. It mentions business trips to Col as well as Ida and Greenwood Fla and notes Cav Culver in Enterprise visiting relatives. A hog weighed 364 pounds and 200 pounds of meat were claimed. Fines around $20 are noted for some offenses.

In Houston County Alabama a chancery case Sophy Ross vs Rory Ross is set for publication in Dothan Eagle. The register orders Rory Ross, a Louisiana resident over 21, to plead by January 18 1908 or a decree pro confesso may be entered.
J F Dawsey and W H Helms announce themselves as candidates for Treasurer of Houston County subject to the Democratic primary. The notices indicate eligibility and intent to seek the office through the party process.
Houstorn County Chancery Court will sell at public auction to satisfy a decree. The sale occurs at the courthouse door in Dothan Alabama on February 3 1908. Property is a house and lot at the northeast corner of Foster and Burdeshaw streets bounded by O Williams St Andrews and Foster. J M Cody Register in Chancery.
