Montgomery Youth Killed As Truck Crashes Into House
A 17 year old from near Montgomery died when the trailer truck he drove lost control and rammed into a house in DEATSVILLE Alabama. The truck split in two and the cab struck the home of S D Clarke. Headley was thrown about 18 feet from the vehicle. Clarke's wife and two children slept in the room and escaped unharmed.

Funeral in Florala for Harold Pridgen
Harold Pridgen aged nineteen, son of Mr and Mrs C B Pridgen of Florala, died January 6 in a New Orleans hospital. He was a 1947 Florala High School graduate. Surviving are his parents two sisters two brothers and several grandparents. Funeral was at Elton Church with burial there. Pallbearers were cousins and honorary pallbearers were high school classmates.
