Martha Griffin dies at son’s home after illness

Mrs. Martha Griffin aged 75 died at her son W T Griffin’s home on Dothan Route 8 Friday at 3 am after two weeks of influenza. She was mother to Wade H Griffin of the city with several Griffin relatives listed including J W Charlie John of Slocomb and others in Slocomb Eufaula and Columbus Ga. Funeral was at the family burying ground near Abbeville.
