New Look Or Not Sweaters Remain Favorites For Bobby Soxes
CHICAGO UP A group of 73 high school sweater girls filled out a survey on the new look. They favored sweaters with skirts and preferred to wear sweaters tucked in or outside the skirt. For outside school wear 21 chose slacks, five skirts, and 19 blue jeans. All 45 would take a sweater with them, while most daywear stayed in sweaters.
