Aviation student Wallace Burk holder Marshall from Adrian Michigan died yesterday in a training plane crash eleven miles north of Midland City. Commanding officer Colonel James L. Daniel Jr announced the death the first fatality in 8000 miles flown. Marshall was married to Blanche Duffy of Kalmanos Michigan and had been living in Dothan during Napier Field training. Dr H J Tippett a longtime optometrist in Dothan died in a local hospital after a brief illness. A Constableville New York native born fifty eight attended college in Teerta Al and moved to Dothan from Demopolis Alabama in 1967. He opened Dothan's first grinders plant and retired last February leaving a surviving cousin S E Johnnan of Blackwood NJ. Funeral services will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity with burial in Constableville. Fellow-Formanater and Johnson Funeral Home entrusted arrangements.
