Ralph Williams Seriously Hurt In Auto Wreck

Ralph Williams son in law of J M Williams of Dothan was seriously injured when a heavy oil truck he drove turned over after swerving to avoid an automobile in Panama City. He suffered a fractured skull and internal injuries and was rushed to a Panama City hospital.

Death of Mrs Dora Snell at Route 8

Mrs Dora Snell aged 69 died at her home on Route 8 at 6 this morning. Funeral services were held at Pinckard at 2:30 this afternoon, Rev W J Baldwin officiating with Rev O M Murphy assisting. Survived by husband D A Snell of Route 8, five sons J W T W A L A D F G D Snell, three daughters Mrs Willie Purvis of Slocomb and Mrs J W Reeves and Thad McGowan of Dothan Route 8. Pallbearers were three sons and three sons-in-law. The Dothan Undertaking Company in charge.

Mrs Sarah J Phillips Buried at Rocky Church

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Sarah J Phillips 88 at Rocky Church where she had long been an active member. She died Thursday at her Route 3 home after brief illness. Interment was in the church cemetery. Fellows and Forrester handled arrangements. Berlin Up reports the German Railway Administration will equip one express train with radio receivers for passenger amusement, with plans to expand if satisfactory.

Detroit gangsters named in seven slayings case

Three Detroit gangsters were identified in photographs as members of the gun gang hunted for the seven men slain in Chicago. William Bryant Implicated in Auto Theft Case

William Bryant sign painter was arrested late yesterday charged with aiding in the theft of the C Bergeson automobile. Police recovered the car at Panama City Thursday night and four men tied to the theft were later taken into custody. Bryant is jailed on bond. Parker Dies in Samson Friday Night

W J Parker of Samson died after a brief illness Friday night at his home. He had been in good health until just before he was stricken. He formerly lived in Elba. Surviving are his widow two daughters Mrs C M Williams of Birmingham formerly Miss Faye Parker of this city and Miss Adah Parker and one son. Funeral arrangements were not learned.
