Tallahassee Florida. The Budget Commission was expected to cut large budget items in state agencies including education livestock sanitary board and mental hospital to bring expenses to a workable level. Temporary approvals totaled about 267 million dollars across around 100 budgets, with revenue forecasts for next year at roughly 197 million dollars. The commission began trimming yesterday removing about 500 thousand dollars from minor budgets. the Education department led cuts at 94 thousand 810 dollars with the livestock sanitary board at 13 thousand. Future reductions were anticipated for colleges the university tuberculosis board and parks and recreation boards as the legislature prepares final action in April.
