He led Abbeville as mayor for nine years and is survived by his wife, Mrs Tata Fish. Funeral 2 pm today at Abbeville City Church with Sheriff and Browns Mortuary in charge, burial in Abbeville City Cemetery.
MONTGOMERY AB The Public Service Commission approved a taxi line to operate from the Mississippi line to Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. The commission yesterday authorized A Z Stokes to operate a taxi service in Decatur with a fare radius of 80 miles. A permit for W. J. Williams of the Downtown Cab Service was amended to allow passenger carriage within eight miles of Decatur.
