Florida Editor Writes Obituary Then Kills Self

Day tona Beach February 9 AP After typing his own obituary noting ill health and the futility of life Paul Ellis city editor of The News Journal ended his life by a bullet to the brain. His body was found on the sand dunes near the ocean speedway where he previously covered automobile record attempts by Sir Malcolm Campbell and other drivers for the paper. Ellis wrote the story of his life.
