Navy Recruit Office To Be Open Evenings
In compliance with instructions from the Birmingham Naval Recruiting Station the Dothan office will stay open until p.m. on Monday and Wednesday to enlist men in the inactive reserve Chief Ed Radimak reported yesterday. The hours were changed to help Navy and Coast Guard veterans who cannot leave work during the day to enlist.

Cottonwood Student Represents Houston In Orator's Contest
Miss Renee Adams of Cottonwood High School will represent Houston County at the district oratorical contest by the American Legion in Troy on February 12. County Supt.
