Catholic Group Is Entertained At Regular Meeting

Catholic Woman's Club was entertained by Mre George Vance at its regular business meeting. Reports from secretary treasurer and committee chairmen were read. New members added to the USO Center list and a social hour followed with sandwiches and coffee.

Valeplina Dance Planned At UBC Center

Officials at the UBC center on South Foster announce a Valeplina Dance to take place Wednesday evening with Napier Field Orchestra providing music. Francis J. Croas has arrived from New Orleans to oversee art activities with Bol Zigert and acting director, who have been at the center since it opened. Mrs Press Thornton was named assistant director. The Sixth District Nurse Association will meet at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the auditorium of the public health building.

Marianna Woman's Club Hoffers Notable Community Support

iMusic Club Presents Musical Program At Church

The iMusic Club offered an afternoon musicale Sunday at First Baptist Church under director Mrs Graves Knowles. Performers included Mrs Louie Wren, Miss Daley Dall Brookins, Mrs J E Goldeberry, and Mrs Alton Lach.
