Mrs. Horace Hall welcomed her card club and friends at Pettus street Saturday afternoon. Guests included Mrs. Wadlington, Mrs. Spann, Mrs. Julian Hall, Miss Sturgis, Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. Hipp, Miss Buntin, and Mrs. Solomon. Gene Ellis left for Panama City to join Dothan Jewelry Co. Miss Elizabeth Heaton returned to Birmingham after visiting Dothan friends Mae and Juanita Stembridge.
