Study Club Lunches For Needy School Children

The Dothan Study club in cooperation with the city PTA will sell lunches Saturday from 11 to 2 at Harrison and Lisenby’s Drug Co. Meals cost 25 cents to raise funds for needy school children unable to buy meals. Merchants and shoppers are urged to support by buying lunches downtown.

The funeral for Winton Roberts five-year-old son of Mr and Mrs J R Roberts of Jakin Georgia was held today at Silvon Grove Church with Rev Jeter officiating. Burial followed at Silvon Grove Church Cemetery. The child died yesterday at home after a short illness from pneumonia.
