Alabama College Home Economics students staged a January 18 fashion show at the college in Montevallo. Students designed and modeled wool suits and dresses, with outfits by Mary Frances Wynn, Christina Christiansen, Avaline Patton, Peggy Davis, Hitch Carter, Edith A. Dixon, Sarah Thompson Edge, Charlotte Gibbs, Margaret Green, Edna Ruth Jones, Hazel Killingsworth, Neil LeCroy, Louise Pate, and Martha Priester, noting costs from 2.75 to 898.00 and styles ranging from tailored coats to pencil silhouettes.

Mrs V L Whatley entertained a group of young people at her Columbia home on Saturday evening for the sixteenth birthday of her daughter Jeanette.
