Tharp fifty one died at his home in Campbellton Florida Tuesday morning after brief illness were held at Carmelailles Baptist Church at nine am with the Rev Joe W White officiating Burial was in the surrounding cemetery with Blackburn Funeral Home of Chipley directing He was a World War veteran and longtime Campbellton resident Survived by two sisters Mrs McMing of McIntyre Georgia and Miss Amanda Tharp of Campbellton also an aunt Mrs R E Povner of Campbellton and Walter Carter of Montana Active pallbearers and honorary pallbearers named from local communities

Allen T. Davis a 75 year old lifelong Slocomb resident died in Dothan hospital after a short illness. He was active in the Masons Lodge and a member of Christian Home Baptist Church. Survived by three daughters Mrs Core James Cambridge Mass Mrs Robby Dyson New Orleans Mrs Mary Lou Water Dothan route one four sons Farnest O Neal Garfield Davis all of Slocomb and Arthur Davis Bonifay Fla two brothers John and Jasper Davis Soncheopy Fla and Mrs Julie Davis Mrs Pharoh Hughes and Mr Tim Martin Slacomb plus several grandchildren and three great grandchildren Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Fallows Forrester Funeral Home.
