ATLANTA AP Anyone hoping for extra sugar for Christmas via next sugar stamp before January 1 faces disappointment. OPA Regional Administrator Alexander Harris said attempts to provide more sugar now would cause a severe shortage later. He dismissed rumors of warehouses bulging with sugar and cited a December 1 survey showing Southeast supplies 1 percent below last year.
Mrs James J Coskrey age twenty three of Enterprise died in an Enterprise hospital Monday from burns suffered Wednesday. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Searcy Funeral Home upon arrival of her husband Sergeant Coskrey. Surviving are her husband, father J W Sellers of Enterprise, two brothers T J Sellers of Mobile and Ralph Sellers of Enterprise, six sisters including Mrs C L Strickland Boni fay, Mrs A L McDougle Samson, Mrs W R Bradley, Miss Grace Lou Sellers and Mrs Owell Matthews, all of Enterprise, and Mrs Mary Rice of Yuma Ariz.
