Disney in decline from fantasy to failed musical provocation
A veteran observer rails at Walt Disney for shifting from peak creative fantasy to a factory-like empire. He recalls Snow White and Chaplin as genius labels, laments production lines and live action mix, and condemns Song of the South for racial insensitivity and a bungled Atlanta premiere, urging a return to original artistry.

Building Commission Completes Its Work Under Sparks Regime
The State Building Commission under Gov Chauncey Sparks has nearly finished its tasks with $150,000 of a 12 million appropriation unspent. It earmarked 291,865 for seven state institutions and postponed Dr Gallalee’s resignation while rejecting diverting 700,000 from a building fund. It approved minor revisions to the southern standard building code and released funds for a dental school and a public health building.

Fragmented musings on society and gender roles in mid-century discourse
A mosaic of quotes critiques and anecdotes on growth, aging, family dynamics, marital expectations, and women's roles. The text contrasts traditional male authority with evolving female independence, touching on education fashion and the imagined futures of daughters within a patriarchal frame.
Public Health Building Funds Held in Escrow
The group approved placing public health building funds in escrow until work can start. Dr Gallulee noted that of the original 12,000,000 appropriated for the commission a total of 7,660,813 had been released as of Nov. 200 for projects under construction or purchases made. An additional 3,853,617 was allocated on that date but no funds paid out.
