Police Capture Tenn Man Who Killed 2 Persons
A multi state, high profile manhunt ended at midday yesterday with the surrender of William Franklin Bean, accused of killing his wife and daughter in a family shooting. Bean was captured in an outbuilding near his home after a house to house search by Shelby County authorities and state officers. He faced the Shelby County Jail without resistance, while the wounded child Donald Ray Bean remained hospitalized in Memphis. The deaths occurred after a Thursday night argument over the children’s lunch, with Bean’s apparent intent to kill himself.
