Death threat note demands 10000 cash sent via train to Dothan man
L J Lunsford of 207 North Montana street received a crude extortion note demanding $10,000 with a threat to his life. The letter, written on brown paper, mailed on a Atlantic Coast Line train, bears a three cent stamp and was found to be part of a gangland extortion pattern linked to a Montgomery hold up. Police continue the intensive investigation with county guards at the Lunsford home.
