Eight Diphtheria Cases Reported Since July
Since July 3 eight diphtheria cases have been reported to the Houston County health department. One case is in Dothan, six are county residents, and one was visiting in Dothan. Health officer Dr W T Burkett said none had immunization. Immunization clinics for diphtheria, smallpox and typhoid are held Saturdays and Mondays.
