American Legion Commander Ed Wren Dies in Alabama

Murray Pool a Bear Gordon resident of Houston county was arrested on an indictment charging assault with intent to murder and robbery with firearms related to an May 8 attack on a Florida preacher in Gainesville. The preacher shot in the mouth and shoulder reportedly had about 3000 in a tackle box during the attack. Robbery with firearms carries a life penalty in Florida.
