Henry Tucker aged seventy eight a former resident of Houston County died at his home in Houston Texas on Monday after a long illness. He was a native of Houston County and moved to Houston several years ago. Funeral arrangements are set to be announced by Ward Wilson. Surviving are two brothers T M Tucker and R K B Tucker of Cottonwood and a number of nieces and nephews.
London AP reports a master plan for major war crimes trials nearing completion as top Nazis held as POWs at Mondorf Luxembourg and elsewhere are moved to the Nuremberg jail. They will lose POW status and be held as civil criminals without bail, in small guarded groups. About 25 to 30 defendants are expected, with Hermann Goering Joachim von Ribbentrop Franz von Papen and Julius Streicher among Luxembourg detainees linked to the trials.
